Shaney M. Salomon

Founding Partner and Chief Executive Officer

Shaney has over 20 years of experience in high-tech organizations in key leadership positions such as Director of Finance and Administration, Corporate Controller and Director of Professional Services for global corporations. She has successfully led multiple companies through M&A transactions and is highly respected for her success in exceeding financial objectives, increasing profit margins, operational improvement and team building.

She is a Founding Partner, Board Member and holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Optima ECM Consulting. Prior to founding Optima ECM Consulting in 2009, she held the position of Director of SAP Global Services at OpenText, the world’s leading Enterprise Information Management company, where she had responsibility for leadership of the SAP Global Services Team in North America. She was awarded multiple distinctions for service excellence during her tenure. She joined OpenText through the acquisition of her former company, Optura, where she held Controllership and Client Services Director positions. Optura developed the highly successful product that SAP and OpenText jointly market and sell today known as SAP Invoice Management.

Due to her long and tenured experience in Accounts Payable and with Invoice Management, Shaney is a well-recognized and respected subject matter expert and thought leader for her customers in the Procure to Pay space in SAP. She frequently speaks at conferences and on webcasts with joint customers regarding their successes with the SAP-OpenText products.

Shaney is on the Board of Directors at Horses Help in Phoenix, AZ, an accredited therapeutic riding program for children and adults with physical and mental disabilities and is the co-founder of Blanketing Arizona, a grass-roots, community group providing food and blankets to the homeless in Phoenix. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University.

Alex Nadesan

Founding Partner and Chief Operations Officer

Alex is a founding member of Optima Consulting, LLC. Alex has over 10 years of experience working with SAP. He began his career as an Officer in the U.S. Army and then made the transition to SAP consulting with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

Alex joined Optura in 2002 and then Open Text in 2005 when Optura was acquired by Open Text. During this time, Alex extended his expertise in Invoice Management and document archiving with specific emphasis in the areas surrounding content, process engineering, solution alignment, deployment/adoption, and process automation/optimization.

His experience ranges from designing solutions, hands-on SAP configuration and project management, to building an SAP workflow practice delivering solutions globally to Fortune 500 companies. His recent background includes responsibility for leading both project delivery and ongoing operations where he has successfully demonstrated the ability to increase productivity and drive results. Alex’s focus has always been on client satisfaction.

Alex has an MBA in Finance from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Business from San Diego State University.

Jaime Gutierrez

Founding Partner and Chief Architect Officer

Jaime is a founding member of Optima Consulting, LLC. Jaime is a recognized industry expert in deploying solutions that extend and complement SAP in the areas of data and document archiving, process optimization and legacy system decommissioning.

Jaime has spent 12+ years architecting, deploying and optimizing SAP ECM and OpenText solutions for Global 2000 clients throughout North America and Latin America. Jaime holds many certifications including SAP Consultant in technologies such as NetWeaver, SAP Archiving, SAP BW and SAP Workflow and was recognized 3 consecutive times as one of the best SAP trainers by SAP Latin America. He holds degrees in Computer Science and Systems Engineering. Jaime holds Framework Methodology certifications in ValueSAP, Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) and ISO 9000. Jaime is a frequent speaker at SAP and Microsoft conferences, SAPUniverse and SAPTech, on the topics of Data Archiving, Document Management and SAP Integration. Before co-founding Optima Consulting Jaime led the SAP implementation team for the archiving practice in Open Text for more than 3 years.

Mani Ramaswamy

Partner and Chief Solutions Officer

Mani has over 20 years of IT leadership in the delivery of transformational and innovative business and technological solutions. He has a proven track record in strategic solution road mapping and delivering bankable ROI for customers.

He has a unique blend of competencies that allows him to develop the solutions and IT strategy that create value and impact for business functions Enterprise-wide. He has played a wide variety of roles in all areas of business consulting, product management, development and delivery within the SAP eco system.

His SAP functional expertise spans multiple SAP modules such as finance, logistics, human resources and business intelligence. He holds numerous technical competencies in the areas of NetWeaver, SAP Archiving, Web Application Development and Workflow. Mani began his SAP consulting career at IBM Global Services in 1997. He joined Optura in 2001 and then OpenText in 2005 as part of the acquisition. Throughout this time he was involved in numerous product implementations and was also closely linked to product development. He moved to the role of Consulting Manager within the OpenText Global Services team before choosing to engage in private entrepreneurship specialized in rolling out Procure-to-pay (P2P) solutions.

As the Chief Solution Officer at Optima, he has oversight of ECC Business Solutions, Cloud/SaaS Business models and B2B enablement. Mani has a Masters and a Graduate Degree in Computing from Monash University.

Randy Reber

EVP, Sales & Marketing

Randy has 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development leadership roles. He has built a strong record of success helping companies achieve their strategic growth objectives and realize the greatest impact to the market place. Randy is heavily focused on driving the right strategy, collaboration, and execution across organizations to ensure optimal engagement and success. He is well-versed in implementing and executing multiple sales methodologies selling across varied solutions including ERP & Financial software, SaaS/BPO, BI & analytics, and Consulting & Managed services.

Randy has held leadership positions in companies such as The Alexander Group, OpenText, and SAP. He will be working on expanding Optima’s sales & marketing teams and focusing their efforts, ultimately driving our growth and closer alignment to our customers. Randy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance.
